Meet Raeshanda
RaeShanda Lias, best known for her catchphrase “let’s check the board” and viral videos from TikTok and Instagram, is leveraging her more than 3 million-viewer audience to elevate the mission of leading brands, cause-driven organizations and some of the world’s leading change makers.
An experienced entrepreneur, activist, and social media strategist, RaeShanda’s colorful commentary on topics that range from pet ownership and fashion to women’s rights and politics started taking social media by storm in 2021. Since then, she’s partnered with global brands that include Lexus and Spotify and worked with elected leaders including Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz.
Her more than 3 million-user following on TikTok and Instagram, surged in 2023 when she posted video commentary on Rihanna’s Half-Time Super Bowl Show performance and attracted more than a million views in roughly 30 days.
Since then, RaeShanda has leveraged the lessons and momentum from her fast-growing social media presence to help brands and content creators build audiences; performs as an event host, speaker, and brand activation partner; and has been featured in the Washington Post, MSNBC, USA Today, and Essence Magazine.
RaeShanda's motivational speaking and entrepreneurial roots reach back to December 2011 – when the single-mom of four, found facing homelessness and financial hardship started a social media page that turned into a business.

RaeShanda’s push forward has taken her across the world as a business owner, public speaker, children’s book author, and to recognition from nonprofits including the Human Rights Campaign and Kentucky Women’s Foundation.
A 2025 NAACP Image Award nominee, RaeShanda is a native of Fayette, Mississippi, an alumna of the Kentucky State University, and a veteran of the United States Army. She serves as the President and CEO of the Louisville, Kentucky-based “All is Fair in Love and Fashion” a boutique that has provided stylist services and custom apparel since 2012.
